Harp O'Clock Zoom Concerts 2020 - 2021
Harp O'Clock began in September 2020 in response to the Covid19 pandemic and ran until the end of 2021 in weekly and then monthly concerts. The series raised several thousand euro for Msizi Africa, a charity responsible for nutrition programmes in Lesotho. The concerts took place on Zoom and the format was friendly and informal with audience requests a firm feature. The concerts grew in popularity, attracted a global audience and brought many family and friends together at a time of great difficulty and constraint.
Although the series ended in late 2021, it holds a very special place in my heart and led to 'Pursuit of Harpiness' on social media - the Youtube channel is still online (see link below) with many candid videos of various harp arrangements across a broad spectrum of genres.
