Fairies. Síoga. Sídhe. We call them by many names these elusive and often mischievous spirits from the otherworld. This October harpist Aisling Ennis will perform a very special harp concert in every library in county Wicklow inspired by the fairies and their frolics. 


This harp concert will feature music from our Irish tradition as well as mesmerising pieces composed by 19th and 20th century harp mavericks. In her uniquely engaging way, Aisling will tell you all about the fairy hysteria that swept the world and how the harp and especially the Irish harp, played an important role in this charming genre.
